I was not aware he was a child molester. I only knew that he worked with and helped raise money for an outdoor sports group for disabled people that I was involved with. The people we worked with were adults and he helped us with our skiing program. ---

Sorry to hear about this. A little conflicted because of his legal troubles, but I did enjoy his work. Mostly, I remember him for a pre-accident role in a TV movie called “Paper Man” (Not about an overgrown newsboy.) and a few eps of one of my old TV favorites “Wiseguy”. ---

I always had trouble distinguishing James Stacy, James Staley, James Spader and Jamey Sheridan. I’m sure that in a few years I’ll be telling people that I’m sure I remember the death of each of the other three. Hopefully I won’t remember each of them as a child molester as well. ---

A talented actor. I’ve sometimes wondered if, along with his visible maiming, he also suffered a brain injury in the motorcycle accident. Perhaps that resulted in his losing control with the 11-year-old. Not that I’m making excuses for a child molester. There is no excuse. But still, I wonder. ---
