She sure seemed to have lots of problems and she apparently decided to end them once and for all by herself. Very sad story, now that it’s ended. Her family asked a judge to get her admitted to rehab just a couple weeks ago. They evaluated her for a couple days and sent her home for out patient care. :smack: So much for expert doctors. This isn’t really a surprise. She’s battled a lot of problems over the years. Here’s the story from Feb 8. She was released to out patient care a couple days after entering rehab. Thankfully her kids were still in foster care. I’ve been hearing it was suicide. She’d attempted it unsuccessfully in the past. Sad story. ---

She apparently died of a single gunshot wound to the head, self-inflicted. She was found on her porch. ---

I know if people really want to commit suicide they will try really hard to do it, but I think it would be a good idea to have someone stay with and watch a person in her situation (and keep them away from guns.) ---

Mindy’s boyfirend, David Wilson, killed himself in Heber Springs Jan 13. Pretty sure Mindy was at the same house today. The news is reporting that it was at Heber Springs. ---

A report I read said her father had been staying with her until yesterday and that when he left she appeared fine. Her death was her own choice and is nobody’s fault but her own—and I say that as a person who is frequently suicidal. ---

I’m sad to say I’m relieved to hear her kids–now orphans, losing _both_ parents to suicide–are in foster care. This is especially so considering she shot and killed the dog first before herself; she may have targeted them as well. ---

^^^ The father of her oldest boy is still around and I read that he sued her for custody right after the father of her youngest boy shot himself. What a way to lift her spirits and make things better for her! I say that his doing that to her is what drove her over the edge and him doing such a thing doesn’t surprise me because back when he and her were together, he would beat her like a rented mule. I am guessing that he got bored with physical abuse and decided to go in the direction of what may be the worst form of abuse that there is: emotional abuse. :mad: :mad: :mad: God bless you and her family always!!! Holly P.S. My most favorite song from her went to radio 15 years ago named “The Other Side Of This Kiss”. ---
