Ronnie Claire Edwards, who played Corabeth Godsey on _The Waltons_ has [died](http://metv.com/stories/rip-ronnie-claire-edwards-of-the-waltons). ETA: I just noticed that stupid article says she played Corabeth Walton which is wrong. ---

When she joined the show, she was Corabeth Walton. She became Mrs. Godsey after she married Ike. I always liked their relationship. ---

I always liked the incredibly strange name Micheal Learned. That it was a woman (still the only Mike girl I know), and the way it was pronounced (LER-nuhd)… I remember liking the harmonic-y theme. Quite the strong melody, actually. ---

A very fine actress, playing an often difficult role. And yes, Corabeth’s maiden name was Walton. R.I.P. ---

Oops, I had forgotten about the ‘being John’s cousin thing’ but, still, I’m pretty sure she was known by Godsey longer in the show’s run than she was known by Walton.
