[RIP] This afternoon my beloved wife of 40 years entered hospice care. Don't want to talk about it.

That’s the annoying thing about life. It ends.

My thoughts are with you and yours.

Friday night was full of horrifying screams of pain, but the nurses put off responding until 5:15, as that was her scheduled time for more morphine. After that she quieted so much I thought they had plugged in an OD. Justifiable concern since she stayed quiet til the end. Way too much reality/brit tv.

Grew quiet last night. Grew very quiet around noon. Mary glanced over abd said “ahem.” Pam was gone.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry. May her memory be a blessing forever.

So sorry for your loss.

My condolences.

I am so sorry for your loss, I hope her memory keeps you strong :frowning:

I’m sorry, man. There are certain experiences for which words are simply inadequate and this is one of them.

The older I get, the more I believe that we all continue to live on in some way through each other. So even though your wife is gone physically, she lives on spiritually through you and others. We share and pass along our thoughts, feelings, emotions, values and so much more.

My condolences

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’m so very sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for you loss.

I am so sorry. She sounds like quite the lady. I’d love to hear more stories about her when you’re ready.

So sorry for you loss.
There seems to be something in my eye…

I’m so sorry for your loss, dropzone.

One more small voice wishing you comfort and solace - not much, I know. I’ve had a lot of losses in my life, and I’ve found that small positives can add up to take away their sting. Hoping this long chain of small good wishes helps you find some relief.

Take care of yourself, now. That’s important.
