> [@Ignatz](#): > > Labdad: Please cite source for Serrano name. The Preparing the Trucks clip shows LAZARO on the hood of one truck (at 0:24). The second truck is named Lazaro, after Lazarus from the Bible. The other name, Sorcerer, was named after a [Miles Davis album](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sorcerer_(Miles_Davis_album)). Friedkin liked the name so much, he changed the film name to _Sorcerer_. (The working title of the film earlier was _Ballbreaker_.) You can see part of the name of the truck in this screenshot on the hood. Serrano is one of the character names in the film but not the truck name, Lazaro is the one I was thinking about 🙂 [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/rip-william-friedkin-august-7-2023/988236.md?page=1)
