At first I thought this was a joke.
But, serious vinyl lovers clean their records with wood glue.
I might give it a try with a “garage sell” record I don’t care about. Who in the heck ever thought of such a thing? But it seems to work.
People do all sorts of goofy things. For example, there are people who play their records wet with the idea that it reduces noise. There is good evidence that doing this will damage the groove walls, but that doesn’t stop some folks.
