The question isn’t risky, but it is a two-edged sword. My current best friend, ex-semi-gf has mixed kids. On the one hand, she is cool and the kids’ racial composition has exactly NO bearing on how we did/do get along. OTOH, she has a stick up her ass about racial things. One day we were driving back from who knows where, and were listening to the radio news. Don’t know what came up, but then she got onto some rant about “Things are getting better??? Things are getting worse!!! Racism is increasing, blah, blah…” Don’t actually know what her point was, but, kept my trap shut and let it pass. Her kids seem to blend in well with all the mix of kids in the mixed schools, but, she seems to be just waiting to jump on some white person or the white race for some measure of unequal treatment. There doesn’t even have to be a white person involved if one of the kids gets into trouble at school, but I seem to get a lecture with the word ‘lily white’ liberally sprinkled throughout. So, point being, to date another woman as defined in the OP, she’d have to be a bit more stable, or have an amazing rack. ---

LOL… But, “Star Trek” jokes aside, I’ve known a lot of people who are of mixed race. They do complain that sometimes it causes problems. For example, one girl I knew was very fair-skinned, and some racist black people assumed she was entirely white and treated her accordingly. I’ve also heard of people who have certain racial features but do not know their traditional culture (like person of Mexican descent who does not speak Spanish) and it causes societal friction between them and more recent immigrants. I don’t think any of these are reasons to avoid raising a child. ---

Look at God’s design.” While I accept and enjoy other cultures, I would never bring a child into a confusing situation, or marry a man with mixed-race children. Children need to feel solid and secure in their heritage in order to thrive – love can only go so far. ---

I wouldn’t date a woman at all. I also wouldn’t date anyone that was raising children of any sort as I have no interest in parenting. ---

And are you also saying that you would never marry someone from another culture? My heritage (one country, one color, two cultures) is confusing for some strangers, but it’s never been confusing to me. I know what I am and I know what my parents are. And any stranger who’s confused by it is welcome to another cup of coffee 😛 ---

Having been there done that once, I would never again “date” any woman with another man’s child. If I were to date a woman, it would be for herself and not the child, but that’s not possible if they care an iota for their child. ---
