Really neat display of military drill and ceremony…how does the one guy spin his Garand so fast? They weight around 10 pounds, no? Anyway…awesome pomp and circumstance. Check it out! probably more like 5-6lbs. its insane how they’re tossing them back and forth with bayonets on them… surely they arent real bayonets? ---

The one good look I got at a rifle it definitely looked like a Garand. And that sucker is at least nine and a half pounds. Believe me. Kicks like a mule, too. ---

I’d have thought they’d use Krags, but maybe Garands flip around better. ---

They fell asleep in the motor pool; almost didn’t make it to graduation. And when you take music that wasn’t written as a march and try to turn it into one, it almost always suffers in the process. This wasn’t as bad as some, though. ---

Wow! A couple of years back, I went to an International Band Competition at the Calgary Stampede (next-door neighbour kid was in a local band and I was supporting them via $$ help) and was gob-smacked. Some of the best entertainment I have ever seen. Wish I could see more. Loved them and loved their dedication.
