It’s not that they’re all awful - I would guess that cops are awful in comparable percentages to the general population - it’s that they watch each others’ backs, even when they really _really_ shouldn’t. If this woman’s story turns out to be true, then every single person who ignored her pleas should be fired at minimum. They should at least be investigated for criminal charges (negligence, maybe? IANAL). Our guardians should be held to a higher standard. ---

If they would define ‘attempted’ rape, I believe you’ll find they include things like “I was afraid someone might rape me” and this is all self-reported. Not to minimize real rape, but the stats are grossly inflated. Also, MLK is spinning and crying in his grave at the racist comments being made here. However, he is always spinning LEFT which tells me something. ---
