“Running with the Devil” - Van Halen “409” - The Beach Boys “Fly Me Courageous” - Drivin’ & Cryin’ Two comments… - For some reason, I dug the White Lion version of “Radar Love” better than the Golden Earring original. I think it makes a better driving song, too. - Almost any David Lee Roth-era Van Halen song makes for a good road song. “Panama,” “Unchained,” and “Hot for Teacher” make me want to stomp on the gas when they come on the radio. ---

Heading out on the Highway by Judas Priest, I find the live version better. Clear Night Moonlight by Golden Earring, too bad all people listen to by GE is Radar Love I’ll show you something Special by Balaam and the Angel on the Plains, Trains and Automobiles sdk I could throw some motorcycle tunes out there but you didn’t ask for them! ---

I’ve got a feeling I’ve posted this somewhere else but anyway, you can’t have a truly great road song compilation without \*\*\* On the Road Again by Canned Heat\*\*\*. However, if you don’t like that one then \*\*\*It’s the End of the World as we know it (and I feel fine) by R.E.M. \*\*\* is also a kickass driving track. ---
