There are other paths. No Tesla fanboy I, but the Semi includes a model with 500 miles range. The scenario is easy to imagine: a fleet in which a driver (or driverless autonomous vehicle) pulls into the truck stop, where a recharge Semi awaits, flips the load to the charged Semi, leaving the uncharged one plugged in to be ready fully charged for the next truck to come in on schedule.
