Robert B. Parker has died.

RIP Robert Parker. Liking his novels is something that my oldest son and I share. He’d always make sure to tell me when the next novel came out.

That’s a pity. Maybe he and I ought to pull a few Spenser recipes and cook a memorial dinner.

Just heard about his death on NPR so came looking for the thread. I’d only read a few of his books over the years.

I’ve met him a few times over the years and found him to be a good guy. I’ve worked at his Concord house multiple times over the years. My father has always been the main contact with him for the business. My father knew him on a more personal level. I’ll be calling him to let him know the news.

Sad to see him go.
