Saw **Hometime** yesterday afternoon – a rerun, with Robin Hartl – and started meditating on her departure. Found [her website](http://www.robinhartl.com/) – looks like she’s available for personal appearances, if you’ve got any appropriate gigs coming up.

I saw the ladder infomercial once or twice with Robin and Dean Johnson (from _Hometime_), then started seeing almost exactly the same infomercial with Richard Karn (from _Home Improvement_) replacing Dean. Made me wonder if the PBS folks got a little miffed about it (they were in some sense profiting from the “characters” developed on _Hometime_, and may have violating an exclusivity clause in their contracts) and put their foot down; Dean back to _Hometime_ and Robin jumping ship.

Everything in the OP’s link is a typical press release, so nothing remotely helpful there.

I wasn’t recommending it as a source of information – I was revelling in its cheesiness.
