# Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - why no Mark Lindsay

While I like Mark Lindsay/Paul Revere and the Raiders, I think you can attribute only one first-rate song to him and/or the band. That’s “Arizona” and it was written by Kenny Young.

There’s no arguing over taste, but _Rolling Stone_ magazine put [“Kicks”](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kicks_(song)) on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Even Brian Wilson liked it.
