# Rock band has license for park performance, but they say "fuck" all the time

I’d consider registering a complaint with whatever authority issues the permit.

It’s in bad taste. The issuing authority should have the right to make and enforce restrictions, but it shouldn’t be a criminal matter.

Personally, it’s something I don’t do, and wouldn’t be a party to, but when someone else is doing it, it’s easy for me to simply ignore, and take the kids elsewhere. If it happened a lot, I’d stop using that park, and register my complaint with the proper authorities.

I haven’t seen a show there yet, but I don’t believe you. [Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper](http://www.stltoday.com/entertainment/music/kevin-johnson/alice-cooper-marilyn-manson-tour-coming-to-the-family-arena/article_09c82bdc-4eac-5ad5-ae64-5147d3c678ca.html) recently played a show there. I remember making fun of it at the time, that those guys chose to play the “Family” arena, but I never in my life thought they’d actually censor the act.

You think making the words some huge taboo is going to a) stop them learning the words and b) actually discourage the sprogs from using them ? Have you ever \*been \*a kid ?
