Ozzy recently died. He and Sharon were married 43 years. Are there other rock and roll marriages that lasted as long or longer? ---

Ringo Starr & Barbara Bach have been married since April 27, 1981. They met on set in 1980 filming “Caveman”. BTW: Shelley Long was the nice girl in this movie. ---

So that one I knew, but I also went looking, Alice Cooper and Sheryl Goddard: They have been married since 1976. That might be the record. She was pretty young, it looks like 19. * * * * * * Wait, I just watched the Led Zeppelin Doc. **John Paul Jones** is still married to his first wife, **Maureen Hegarty** , and they married in the 60s. … All I can find is 1967. They’ve been married around 58 years. ---

Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee of Rush have been married since 1975 and 1976, respectively. Neil Peart was also married to his first wife in 1975, until she passed away in 1998. ---

Not the longest but Bono (U2) and Ali Hewson have been married since 1982 (and they started dating in 1976). Married about a month after Sharon and Ozzy got married. ---
