I just noticed the little tricycle van parked by the entrance ramp. What a great detail—inconspicuous at first, but it definitely adds to the overall impression of the scene! Where did it come from?
The same goes for the weathering and rust stains on the terminal. At first I thought “Hmmmm, kind of a sloppy paint job”; then I caught myself and said “Oh, no. Can’t be that. No way!”
I see something new each time I look at the photos: The multiple wheels in the landing gear, the crystal navigation and landing lights, the little boy skipping toward the ramp.
It came from an English outfit, I forget their name. It was a lovely little white-metal casting. (The Brits have all the best stuff 
) The windows were open; I blocked them off to match the style of the other vehicles.
Tempting, but I have enough indulgent hobbies already, and not really enough space for more. Knives, paint, glue, brushes; I’d have to start over from scratch.
And even when I was a kid, my reach tended to exceed my grasp. Was never quite satisfied with the results. I’d probably be more patient now, but I think I’d also be more ambitious and exacting, so it would be a wash.
