I haven’t posted any completed model projects here for the longest time; but today I’m planning to post pictures of two of my recent completions. Both are from the same company, Ramshackle Games, out of England. Their kits, which are intended for fantasy wargaming use, are cast with polyester resin, apparently for cost reasons. It’s an unfriendly, brittle material. The first kit is the Brass Coffin, which I see as sort of an expeditionary tractor. I added another axle and a turret on top, and I hollowed out the solid hull so I could add lights to illuminate the viewing slits. I had planned to make it green or blue, but Mrs. R said she liked it in the black primer; so black it is. Again, I added lighting; and I built a little turret for the top, and I photoetched some “feathers” for the smokestack.
