I think it’s the most hyped game. Why/how does Halo have it beat? You’re talking about a system-exclusive game that has a rabid but very specific core audience. The GTA series is cross-platform and has a far more widespread fanbase than Halo.

Billboards and TV infomercials to advertise the release _of the mere trailer_. Yes, the most hyped game in history.
