…choice links (of Roland’s threads and others’) to serve as a kind of de facto, all-purpose answer to future “What does it mean to be a ‘jerk’?” type of questions. You’d kind of present them with a huge bouquet of material from which to study various jerky behavior patterns, and if they really want to sniff, they can go ahead. (Someone like Roland would probably not sniff, as he had not read the registration agreement more than cursorily.) But instead of writing a necessarily dismissive “Jerks are what they say we are, we’re not lawyers here parsing out what ‘jerks’ constitute…” kind of note, it might be more satisfying to give them all the reading they might need in one neat thread. Just a thought. ---

Have Roland’s posts always been so… odd? I’ve never really noticed him until last week with all the “cheating on your spouse” threads, the “would you keep the kid” threads etc. They struck me as a little weird. Has that always been the case? ---

It doesn’t surprise me and was probably long overdue, but I just kind of _fnord_ed his posts, personally.
