# Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 coming soon!!!

I’ve seen quite a few players of RCT 1 and 2 on these boards so I thought this might be of some interest. They just announced [Roller Coaster Tycoon 3](http://us.atari.com/press/?action=readmore&id=1466)

There are even some screenshots floating around that look pretty darn cool.
I loved the first game and thought that the second held promise, although the expansion packs sucked. I always hated that I couldn’t ride the coasters that I created. It looks like this one will finally allow that.
Any thoughts from the addicts of this game?

I’m interested, but
1. As far as I’m concerned, this is Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. What THEY called RCT2 was just the original game with more scenarios. It was a ripoff of the first order.
2. As long as it’s a good economic simulation, I’m happy.

Given that RTC 2 was pitiful, I’m going to wait a while before considering buying RTC3. Gee, do you think the “3-D” graphics will even be as good as ZTC? _that_ is getting a sequel too, and unless the graphics in RTC3 are 10 times better than the first two, it’ll be blown out of the water by this [http://www.strategyinformer.com/screenshots/zootycoon2.shtml](http://www.strategyinformer.com/screenshots/zootycoon2.shtml) … Kind of like how RTC 1 & 2 are by ZTC 1.
