I can’t stop laughing at that article. Then again, when you get handed everything in life, you don’t really have much incentive to learn anything, so she could be the real deal. Some of it really does seem over-the-top, though. Whether all of this was planned out or just dumb luck, Paris _is_ the only rich heiress that I can name off the top of my head. ---

I’ve never heard of her fashion line, and neither have several of the people I’ve asked, so it sure ain’t on par with Gucci. Anyway, all this has got me wondering, what’s Cornelia Guest up to these days? ---

Doesn’t anybody else think it’s very odd that before this year or so you never _heard_ about this woman? Maybe I’ve just had my head in the sand, but not too long ago I was just vaugely aware that the Hilton family was rich in many ways, and all of a sudden ick, she’s everywhere. Promotional, I suppose, but I’d heard of a lot of other socialites only known for going to parties, but not Paris. ---

Am I the only person on this planet who has never heard of this slut before? BTW I am not a long term resident down here so it is not cultural isolation. Unless she is strictly a US phenomena? It can be no coincidence that my junk mail filter picked up two msgs with Paris Hilton in the title. Obviously deleted unopened, and here was I assuming they were promotion for a hotel in the capital of France… ---

Every time one of these grossly overpaid, overprivileged, overpublicized whoevers pops up, I invariably ask the same question: What the hell does she have that about 50 bazillion other women don’t? Rich girl? Done to death. Amateur sex videos on the Internet? Welcome to eight years ago. Slutty photographs? Not original when Playboy magazine _began_, for crying out loud. I know that sex sells. I have no trouble with acting like a tramp. But there are countless websites where I can get dozens of women every bit as attractive as her, and for the exact same price.
