I used to play these video games like crazy in my youth. Sadly, I hear that the more recent ones are all Chinese language only. Anyone know of any good versions to get online? Of course, I’m looking for English translations of said games.

I couldn’t have been the only gringo playing these games…could I?

I played them. To be honest, thopugh, I felt it was uneven and not all that fun. Although that was possibly just becuase the documentation was ridiculously inadequte for some version.

There are several versions of Romance of the Three Kingdoms out for PS2… (and I assume other game systems) I have a hard time believing they are Chinese language only.

There’s also Dynasty Warriors which is a fighting button mashing series of games about the Three Kingdoms period. And Dynasty Tactics which is a turn based battle strategy game about the same period.

I believe the most recent one is Romance of the Three Kingdoms X for the PS2

That’s what I figured. I am without a PS2. I don’t even know if they’re profitable enough to keep releasing them in English, but I hope they do. It’s one of those stupid childhood habits that’s stuck around, ya know.
