Just another dickhead politician (as they all are) who realized that the situation was disadvantageous for him to stick his snout into the trough. He’ll regroup, find his opportunity, find his cadre of schmucks and he’ll have that snout of his dipped in in no time. He’s a politician. That’s what they do. ---

My pick for a tabloid headline tomorrow: “I Quitt!” I liked the part where he said that without innovation and whatever, the U.S. would be France. I would love to hear Sarkozy’s response to that bit of pandering silliness. ---

Y’all remember that saying going around a while back, that every sentence Rudy Giuliani says has three things: a noun, a verb, and 9/11? I’ve often thought, hearing Romney speak, that his every sentence has a noun, a verb, and Ronald Reagan. Seriously, dude, that was annoying. ---
