Go ahead and fall for it. The basic fact is that it is unacceptable for America to ever again have a Republican president. All debate about particulars is irrelevant, as long as the outcome of the election is consistent with this basic and unworthy-of-debate fact. 😃 ---

It’s true that the ad is a lie. It is also true that a whole bunch of SMDB posters cheer the President on when he lies. The fact that you aren’t seeing many whiny threads started about Obama ads speaks well of the SMDB conservatives. ---

I keep getting confused about whether this thread is about Romney’s lying about welfare or about Medicare. He’s doing so much lying that it’s hard to keep it all straight. ---

Oh, they won’t cheer him on a discussion board, but they won’t complain either. They want him to win and it doesn’t matter how he does it. As for lies, just go to the Truth O Meter and type in Obama’s name. He’s lied about Romney on abortion, on the Arizona immigration law, on his taxes, and then there’s all the stuff his surrogates say, which is a lot worse. ---

If this works out for Romney is his next ad going to be how Obama quietly undermined Education Reform? An ad showing George W. signing the bi-partisan No Child Left Behind Act and then saying how in 2012 Obama quietly allowed waivers so kids didn’t have to pass tests anymore?
