Am I the only one who has noticed that Barq’s is the only root beer listed that has caffine in it? Anyway, I say ditch the Barq’s and A&W, and go for Stewarts and Henry Wienharts. That is unless you find a small joint that makes it themselves. ---

First off: IBC, period, exclamation mark. I will buy Barq’s on sale. I will drink A&W at my parents. But, I will pay _full price_ for IBC. Is Dad’s still available anywhere? Haven’t seen it in years. Yeah, and I remember Frosty, too. From Cleveland in the 1960s. Wasn’t the logo some kind of elfin guy with a frozen beard, Santa hat, and icicles hanging from his nose? Speaking of logos, I’d LOVE to see the Dad’s logo again. That guy kinda reminded me of Ernie Kovacs. Think I’ll go do a web-search… * * * Uke ---

Okay…checked the Root Beer Page. Dad’s is still around (with a spanking-new logo…Ernie is looong gone), and seems to originate in Georgia or Ontario or both. Frostie is also still around; they’re based in Idaho. * * * Uke ---

IBC is the best. But I’ll drink a Barq’s if it’s in front of me. Truth be told, I like ROOT beer better than regular beer. * * * You say “cheesy” like that’s a **BAD** thing. ---
