Which movie has the largest gap between critics and users on Rotten Tomatoes? As in, a small percentage of the audience liked it, but a large percentage of the critics like it; or vice-versa?

With some quick looking, I found _[Grown Ups](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/grown_ups/)_ has a 52% split: Audience 62% Critics 10%.

[Boondocks Saints](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/boondock_saints/) has a 70% gap.

Checking some more, I came up with _[Grandma’s Boy](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/grandmas_boy/)_: Audiences 81% Critics 18% Split 63%

As you can see, my research was being outdated as I was conducting it. _Hating Breitbart_’s 94% is going to be tough to beat.

It’s a 94% difference for those who are curious.

That’s a political documentary, though, with what looks like a lot of five-star audience reviews. I’ll bet that a lot of those raves are for the message, not the film itself.

I’m In Love With A Church Girl…6% of critics liked it, 77% of audience liked it. Ugh, that was a bad movie.

How about movies where the critics rated them much higher than the audience?

Nitpick: a difference of 94 _percentage points_. 😉

My first thought was to look up movies that had received notoriously low [CinemaScores](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CinemaScore#Rating), and the largest gap I could find was [Haywire](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/haywire_2011/), with an 80 percent critical score and a 40 percent audience score. But I only looked at about a dozen movies, so there might be a more divisive one out there.
