This site is several years old. I think I first heard of it back in 2001 or so. I forget about it, until someone says Roy Orbison and Cling Wrap or Cling film in close succession, then it all comes flooding back. The horror, the horror! ---

I didn’t read much, but this cracked me up: "‘Hello Roy,’ I say. ‘What are you doing in Dusseldorf?’ ‘Attending to certain matters,’ he replies. ‘Ah,’ I say. He apprises Jetta’s lines with a keen eye. ‘That is a well-groomed terrapin,’ he says. ‘Her name is Jetta.’ I say. ‘Perhaps you would like to come inside?’ ‘Very well.’ He says." Awww… It [turns out](http://www.dartmouthindependent.com/archives/2007/10/kees-literary-c.html) that the real author of all this is a British comedian named Michael Kelly. That’s somewhat disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, kudos to Mr. Kelly for his cleverness and originality, but still… I kinda liked the idea of living in a world with Ulrich Haarbuste walking around with his turtle. Sigh.
