I thought Elizabeth’s father was David (I know he ruled as George), but after looking it up, I see I’m wrong. David would be good, though. ---

I think this speculation about disgraced names occupies the minds if the press more than it does the Royals. ---

Arthur has a bit of a curse on it: the original Arthur didn’t end up too well, then Arthur Plantaganet was killed by his uncle King John, then Arthur Tudor died without consummating his marriage (or did he? Became an issue at trial many years later, but I don’t think anybody including Henry 8 believed he actually had). I say steer clear of it. I’d go with Henry or Edward to go ahead and get a IX after a name instead of stalling at 8. ---
