Nowdays this only applies to black women. It’s quite a shame really. ---

Fun game: Do a Google image search for “steampunk” and “hat,” and see how long it takes before you find one sillier than princess Beatrice’s. It took me scrolling halfway down the page until I found [these](http://www.loupiote.com/burningman/photos/5080366717.shtml)…which _still_ look cooler, and don’t make the wearer look like a Who down in Whoville. ---

Beatrice’s hat is cute. Ridiculous, but cute. Her eyes will eat your soul though. If she wore it as a form of protest because her mother wasn’t invited, I like it even more. “Ill go without you mummy, but I’ll look a fool!” ---
