I’ve noticed we have several conservative posters who have user names with the initials RR: RaleighRally, Rand Rover, and Recovering Republican (and maybe others that don’t come immediately to mind). Is this just a coincidence or is it an intentional tribute to Ronald Reagan? ---

It seems to me that’s something you’d have to ask them personally. The mods won’t have any special way of knowing why someone chose the initials of their username. ---

Oh yeah, don’t we have (or used to have) a poster with “88” in his handle, and he swore up and down it had nothing to do with the 8th letter of the alphabet? ---

Also that he pronounced his first name “Water.” So I guess he’d come up to you, stick out his hand, and sound like he was advertising a boating event. ---

Legend has it that Rolla, MO was named after Sir Walter, or at least the city in NC that’s named after him. ---
