Damn it! My feline prima donna I mean my siamese attack kitten, I mean my lovely seal point siamese will not leave me alone this morning. Granted I’m not usually home on a Thursday morning, and I know I am disrupting her sleep cycle, but does that mean she needs to bug me whilst I am playing online?? Jeez!

How you you guys and gals out there who are owned by a feline deal with this sort of thing? Should I just allow her to lounge infront of the keyboard and continue to rub her belly, or should I just throw her on the bed…where she will sadistically just jump right back onto the desk and obscure my view of the monitor like she is doing right now! URGGH!!

Do your cats annoy you? If so what is the most annoying thing they do?

you probably shouldn’t apply for a job as a world dominator. The ability to operate complicated armageddon machinery whilst fondling a cat isa must have skill. It would be embarrasing if the world changing explosion was down to the cat and not you. You’d probably have to return your special SPECTRE underwear.

[Cricket](http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2385007710092851307nKPyot) likes to plop her 12 lb self on top of my mouse arm, effectively holding it in place and forcing me to do all mouse work with my wrist.

[Valentino](http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2936569450092851307ZIXZuS) likes to sit right at the edge of the desk and _stare_ at me. If I glance in his direction he starts purring. Loudly.

Cats. Can’t live with 'em and there’s not enough fur for a rug.

On the computer front, [Nixie](http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/Bookkeeper2/Cats/2004-01Nixiehatchingmouse.jpg) likes to hatch the mouse, which can be a problem, as she generally switches to attack weasel mode if you touch her belly. [Cow](http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/Bookkeeper2/Cats/2003-11Calliepossessedbycomputervir.jpg) is generally unobstructive, while [Chipie](http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/Bookkeeper2/Cats/2004-08Chipieonmonitor2.jpg) just wants the warmth from the monitor (the shelf keeps him from lying directly on it, keeping most of the fur out of the insides).

[Peach](http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/Bookkeeper2/Cats/2003-12PeachandChristmastoy.jpg), on the other paw, just \*loves \* the [Christmas tree](http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/Bookkeeper2/Cats/2003-12PeachclimbingChristmastree.jpg). She spends most of the holidays permanently damp from the spray bottle we use to discourage her depredations.

Our Siamese looks very much like Valentino… If I had the ability ot post a pic you’d see they look almost identical. Currently she is passed out on our new bed spread…

I almost always workout on workdays, in the morning. So I usually connect to work for a few minutes to see if there’s something I need to do right away, before leaving the house. I do this on my laptop, stretched out lenthwise on a sofa, with my head and back semi-propped up at one end. Devo, who weighed 23# last we checked, almost always likes to jump up on my chest, in front of the laptop, so then I have to reach over him with my wrists to type. He just sits there and purrs loudly, and waits for me to pet him. He leaves after about five minutes.

It’s just a quality time thing, I guess.

Only [Scarlett](http://picasaweb.google.com/lrm229/CatPictures/photo#4978492279052894226) ever tries to intrude on me with the laptop. She sits her head on my leg when I sit on the couch and stares at the monitor.

No, but you can make a nice fuzzy pair of slippers out of 'em. A fact that I remind my [Tio](http://pets.webshots.com/photo/1222304818059173507kIpVvm) of every time he’s being particularly annoying.

He steals my chair. He’ll jump up onto that red chair any chance he gets because he knows I’m often too softhearted to fling him off it. He’s even tricked me, the little furry mastermind… he goes to the door and cries like he wants to leave the room, so I get up to open the door… and yup, he zips behind me and hops up onto the chair to settle in for a happy nap.

Furry bastard.
