This reminds me a lot of that lost issue of _Dennis the Menace_ where Dennis gets all jacked on crystal meth and stands on the front lawn hurling profanities at Mr. Wilson, who for some reason keeps responding to him. (Or was it Billy in _The Family Circus_?) ---

umm errrr ahhhhhh… wasn’t this a thread about Diogenes the Cynic? Could \*getting other people to change the subject in a pit thread about you \* be considered a minor superpower? I mean, its not as good as the ability to fly, but perhaps on a par with the ability to speak with fish? ---

The only thing I’ve gotten out of this thread is that Bricker doesn’t think it’s possible to adhere to Republican fiscal policy and Democratic social policy. It makes sense to me. If you’ll allow me to be overly broad: Republicans are all about decreasing the money government gets. Democrats are all about increasing the amount of social programs the government provides. How the heck can you do both? You ain’t got money for the social programs. If there is any other argument going on, it has been completely swallowed up by that.
