His mother was an American citizen, but his father was still a Cuban citizen when Ted was born. Not sure what that means in terms of his eligibility to run for Prez.

One parent is enough to transfer US citizenship. Obama Sr. never got US citizenship.

If the Republicans can ignore the fact that McCain was born in Panama, and was not even a US citizen at the time of his birth, then they can easily ignore it for Cruz.
