Personally I trust the U.S. government more becuase I can hold them accountible for their actions by voting. (well next year)

Big deal honestly. The US realized that NATO and the UN cannot be relied upon to go along with their agenda so they want to create their own police force.

I have no problem with this as long as its used for constructive purposes.
