I recently bought a new MacBook Air, which I like very much. This is after years of owning and working on Microsoft machines. I have been able to find what I need for most of my software needs, except for one. I have been using [Sporttracks](http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/sporttracks/) to track my runs using data I download from a GPS watch. They don’t make a version for Mac. I am currently running it on the Mac with a Windows desktop, but I would prefer if it were a Mac program. Then I can ditch Windows at home altogether.

Any recommendations?

Why not use something web-based? I use RunKeeper, it’s easy to use, free, and works really well. Not sure if it supports your watch, but I’m guessing it might.

That looks similar to [Daily Mile](http://www.dailymile.com/), which I also use, but more on a social level. I’m an engineer, and we love our metrics. Right now, I can track mileage on a weekly, monthly or annual basis, by type of run (training, race, track workout, trail or any other category I can think of). I can track shoe usage, or any other equipment. It can break down lap times by the mile, km, or increments of either.

I am also looking at [Training Peaks](http://home.trainingpeaks.com/), also web-based. My fear is that I will not be able to import my approximately 3 year log into it, but that’s probably going to be the case unless I stick with Sporttracks.
