While unfortunately this is sort of strange and reeks of desperation, the [URL=“[Humble Bundle | game bundles, book bundles, software bundles, and more](http://www.humblebundle.com/#contribute)”]THQ Humble Bundle [/quote] is a pretty ridiculous deal. I feel weird about it since it seems like the humble bundle should remain an indie thing, but it’s hard to object to this sort of thing. THQ is in dire straights and this seems like a desperation move for some cash - hope COH2 is ok. Games are Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, Company of Heroes and expansions, and if you beat the $5.47 (current) average price, Saints Row 3. This is a ridiculously good bundle, needless to say, so don’t cheap out and give them a buck. Never do that for humble bundles - that’s so obnoxious. ---

I guess there is no reason that model should be restricted to indie games, and THQ has put out some good stuff. I already have Metro 2033 but got it for $5. Darksiders looks like the most fun when I’m in the mood for a beat-em-up. I don’t love RTS but I like WW2 games so we’ll see about Company of Heroes. And Red Faction Armageddon looks ok but don’t like the third-person view. I liked the destructible terrain in Red Faction all those years ago. ---
