His son Lachlan Murdoch will take over as chairman. This may lead to changes on what they cover and how they push back against competitors like Newsmax, One America News Network and The Daily Wire. Rupert won’t be totally out of the picture, so his fingerprints will still be seen in what is reported and shown on their channels. I’m including it in P&E because of the outsize influence the Corp and channel have had on American politics.
