Which, for most of us anyway, is an _active_ intellectual exercise, and a real effort to fight ignorance, even in onself. For those for whom it is not, no help can be given. ---

Conservative here. Jeez, when Clinton was president, I didnā€™t agree with his policies or like all the things he did, but I didnā€™t HATE the man. I still donā€™t hate him. Hell, heā€™d probably be a great guy to hang out with in a bar. On the other hand, I see people above saying they hate GW. I guess itā€™s OK to hate conservatives, but not liberals. :rolleyes: ---

**Nuke** , you are fortunate indeed, if you were spared the idiocy of the right-wing pundits (paid and unpaid) when Clinton was president. I can vividly recall seeing multiple cars carrying the ā€œHeā€™s not MY president!ā€ message (a reference to the election in which the vote was split between Clinton, Perot and Bush, with Clinton getting more than the other two). Whenever I saw those bumper stickers, I always thought to myself ā€œThen this isnā€™t YOUR country!ā€ ---
