When I heard this on the news this afternoon, I immediately said to myself (and to some cow-orkers) (listed alphabetically so you can match them as you wish): About Rush Limbaugh- There’s 1. bad news and 1. good news He- A. has been hospitalized with chest pains. B. survived. Take your pick on which is which. Seriously, though, I think both President and the Speaker should visit him, and bring flowers. ---

In the future, I don’t hope that he dies. I just hope his doctors fail. My Mom and her husband are as republican as they come. He needs Fox News like most people need air, she thinks that Sarah Palin is a far superior choice to lead the world above anyone else. Yet, I only disagree with them. I can also disagree with their neighbors (not related to me) and feel the same way, opposed but not hostile. Rush, and his ilk, Coulter, Beck et al. are a different animal though. There is never, ever anything positive that they have to say (except for the failings of liberals). It’s all outrage, disagreement, indignation, and doomsday prophecy. They are the anti-hope, have always been, and always will be. These people make their money not off of the ideals they propose, they make their money because their inflammatory and opposing views towards anyone they consider to be hostile, even republicans aren’t immune to that. I see all of these people as being “hate mongers” or whatever. Is there an equivalent person in major media that personifies this as far as the left or liberal go? ---

If left-wingers in general cannot behave themselves in a thread about someone with whom they disagree politically, the thread ought to be kept on track with warnings against the violators.
