I always wanted to think that his schtick was all an act and that he really knew better. I guess we’ll never know if he was indeed as hateful as the message that he spread. Even monsters have families and I’m sorry for their loss, but the level of political discourse just went up by the subtraction of his bile. ---

I’m having a Nelson Mandela moment. I thought he died last year, and there was a thread just like this? Or was that when he was diagnosed as terminal, and we were just rejoicing at the _prospect_ of him dying? ---
