As I said, I know that it was accurate, and gave us what the driver saw. but that was the only part of the movie where I actively thought “I wish he had done something else there”. It was essentially a montage of poor visibility - which communicated the race, but it was the least engaging part of the whole movie for me. I’m not sure what Howard could have done differently, maybe he could have just shown the view from the pits the whole time. I’m a critic and a consumer, not a collaborator. I can just complain about the parts I don’t like, I don’t have to fix them.
