Looks like there’s a fire again in Russia - this one at an oil storage depot near the border with Ukraine. The Guardian is reporting it but says it’s unconfirmed at the moment.

The second video shows there are fires at more than one location, far apart from each other, so it certainly looks deliberate.

kudos to the Ukr. - what a smart and resourceful way of warfare … they are now exporting-war-activities to russian territories …
and the russians can only claim “_fire due to old wiring_” (like in the missile-research-facility) and other assorted BS …
… as otherwise they’d have to credit the Ukrs. for their successes and for outsmarting the Ru.
I can literally see Putin chewing on his knuckles over this ;o)

If you’re going to hit “soft” targets (not military bases or forts or such", oil and fuel depots are just the place to start.
And I wonder if there has been an increase in derailments of trains in that part of the world…there is not enough soldiers in any army to watch all the tracks and the Rus depend on the rail lines for the bulk of their logistics (such as it is and what there is of it). Not sexy or dramatic, but it can sure put a crimp in any attacking force.

Looking at the NASA fire map, there’s another fire at an industrial complex around 20 km to the north.
EDIT: It looks like this northern fire might be at a cement factory, so maybe not the target of a military strike. Probably faulty wiring causing the cement to ignite.

He’s a retired 4 Star General. 12th commander of [United States Central Command](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Central_Command) (CENTCOM) from 2013 to 2016. He should be quite knowledgeable.
