Presumably Mr. Courts meant the Mig 29 rather than the Mig 19, which is a 50’s design that last served in various Warsaw Pact air forces in the early 70’s. ---

Putting aside the 11 killed, I’ve got to wonder which are the more valuable (irreplaceable/unreparable) assets lost. The Ukrainian targets damaged/destroyed or the 80+ strategic missiles expended? ---

That depends on if the missiles are native Russian produced missiles or if they’ve started receiving missiles from China. If it’s the former then it’s likely Russia got the short end of the stick. If they’re Chinese missiles, then there’s likely a lot more where they came from, and using a double digit amount is probably not a large number for them. ---

I can’t see China supplying strategic missiles to Russia that could be used against their own cities. These are “shoot at cities in another country” weapons; not battlefield weapons. ---
