Dmitry Medvedev releases a nice rant to appeal to populists across the spectrum. Nobody cares what happens to Ukraine and Ukraine will be allowed to disappear. While I enjoyed the “unterukraine” riffs as an old classic, I did appreciate the new “They’s Nazis, too” tune “that even the snobby, insolent Polacks don’t take for a valid country, and time and again toss in the issue of its western areas anschluss.” > ---

Another photo has surfaced of a severed head impaled on spike, allegedly by Wagner in Bakhmut. There’s also reportedly video of Russian soldiers decapitating a live Ukrainian prisoner. Today’s Russia is like ISIS. ---

There’s nothing “reported” or “alleged” about this one. Do not go looking for the video. I had a heavily blurred and muted version autoplay in my Twitter feed and it was plenty disturbing even though you could barely make out what was going on. The unblurred video will be horrific beyond description. ---
