On the battlefield, it’s likely fatal to the entire crew and the vehicle is lost to enemy action. The value of difficult practical training is something that (thankfully) Russia seems to have overlooked. Sucks to be them. ---

Technically true, but only because the situation for Russia is reversed. Back during the Cold War Iran, North Korea, Syria, and such were Russian proxies. Now Russia is the proxy for the likes of North Korea, Iran, and Syria. ---

“Abnormal descent…?” I mean, if the bomb had gone upwards instead of downwards… but it seems to be that the descent was perfectly in keeping with the laws of gravity… ---

Yep. I am as utterly surprised as you are. Although I guess that the alternative to not admitting it was to let the world (and the Russian population) believe that the Ukranians have managed to hit a city within Russia proper with some big ordnance. Which would definitely not be good for the morale in the home front. ---
