I love Tom Clancy, Dale Brown, etc. military technological thriller novels, but after many years of such American-written fiction in which USA/NATO/West are the good guys and Russia/China/Middle East are the bad guys, I’ve always been curious to read a military thriller from the opposite perspective.
Does anyone know of any military thrillers written by Russian, Chinese, Venezuelan, or such authors?

I know that China has roughly eleven zillion movies and TV series about the Chinese spying against the Japanese (and/or the Kuomintang) during the war. I don’t know if that translates to novels though, and those probably wouldn’t be “technological” thrillers.
