My guess is that the real life footage hasn’t been integrated yet, and the CGI is at just high enough quality to get an idea of what it will look like. The final version will look real and will have real footage cut in. Think of it like a fancy storyboard. ---

The Youtube and stuff was taken away so what does everyone mean by an all CGI movie? Computer animated like Pixar stuff? Or fake-but-trying-to-be-real like that godawful Final Fantasy movie? ---

It was simply a motion capture test so they could make a quick sample for a studio to see. The movie wasn’t going to be CGI.
