This was back in 2024: Long story short, the Monsignor allowed her to film a video in his church. The diocese didn’t like this idea, investigated, and uncovered possible financial irregularities. I know it’s an old story, but I thought it was interesting. If it needs to be moved to a better place, of course feel free. ---

But isn’t the point of auditing the need to be separate from the - seemingly well-entrenched - corruption going on? Given that the Catholic Church is as likely to promote or transfer someone known to have conducted a crime as to fire them or dob them into the authorities, there’s no surety that any internal employee is squeaky clean or able to deliver a disinterested audit. And, in the interest of natural justice, perhaps the money was only resting in his account. ---

Yep. My girls love her. Not as much as Tay-tay and Ariana but she’s up top of the list. Never heard of the church thing. That’s just another problem with the Catholic church. I’m more alarmed at the Deacon guy and his racist slurs against employees. Must be a nice church. 🤔
