Ok, I’ve tried to put these together before, but it always fails. Now, I would like to try again.

I know there are a handful of Dopers in the Sacramento area.  
We could get together at the Fox and Goose (they have Cider!) some quite afternoon and put some faces to some names. Maybe someone could take pictures and we could get some fun comments made at our expense by our fellow dopers.  
C’mon, those Bay Area Dopers pull it off all the time. I know we can do as good.

I have no idea if all those folks still post. However, I will be dropping them e-mails as well… I’m sneaky like that.

Hopefully we can start setting the dates for this one more than a week before the actual date. I feel so stupid for failing to follow through on the last one.

**Muad’Dib** - Are you still working at that bar? If so, would you prefer the Fest to be held there?

I’m a sucker for “The Fox and Goose” myself, but that’s pretty much because they have Cider.

Beats me. Sorry, I know that answer isn’t very satisfying. Your name is just on that amorphous little list in my head of people that I’ve noticed before and that I’ve found interesting for one reason or another.

I’ll probably be dragging my girl with me as well…

alright, barring any other attendees, we may have something going on. When I get home, I’ll check a Calender to find a good day.

2/21 is out.

Any other suggestions? Preferences? I can do a Saturday, but I won’t be able to stay horribly late (working on Saturdays is lame).

Lunch or afternoons work best for me…I don’t live in Sacramento, and have a carpool to catch…eves tend to be pretty full, too.

**ricepad** - whereabouts do you live, and is the weekends still decent for you?

I’m still in negotiations with the ex-wife and girlfriend to figure out a good time.

If this works out, we should have someone take pics and set up a geocities page or somesuch. I would do it, but my access is only at work at present.
